This delightful wall hanging by Mel Silva was actually woven on a mini loom. It was then removed from the mini loom and attached to a handmade frame loom for a "primitive" look.

Mel Silva wove the storm pattern and the Teec No Pos style on a mini loom. He wove the butterfly pattern on a table loom.
How is this for a unique idea! Philip Harang wove the front, back, and sides of this bag on a Maxi loom. The bottom and straps were woven on a mini loom. The trick was getting everything to match!

This great Burntwater style rug was woven on a C. Cactus Flower table loom by Mel Silva. The background yarn was hand dyed with walnut hulls and the rust color was dyed with Eucalyptus leaves. It is 18" x 20".
This cinch was woven by Mel Silva. If you haven't tried cinch weaving it is fun and a good change-of-pace project!

"I purchased the loom to weave small tapestries, not miniature Navajos as you do. However I wanted to enter some of my handspun churro in the ... County Fair Wool Show. They ask for a small sample to accompany any handspun entries and I always try to do a quality job in providing one. It is not easy to make a small sample from a chunky yarn destined for a rug, but I decided to use your loom and make a miniature Navajo since a Navajo rug is what I ultimately plan to use the yarn for ....
Not only did I get a blue ribbon on my churro, which was challenging to spin and, I thought, not so good, but I also received the ... Award for Excellence in Handspinning. This is a prestigious award that I never in my wildest dreams ever even aspired to. I can only think that the sample, which would not have been possible without your loom, contributed to this. That, along with my persistence over many years, culminated in this honor.....
